Capabilities

Single hot Tip
Single hot tips find practical application in two distinct scenarios. Firstly, they are a preferred choice when working with materials that cannot be re-ground, and there's a desire to minimize the length of the sprue. Secondly, in cases where the mold tool is oversized or the runner system is excessively long, risking premature solidification of the plastic before complete mold filling, single hot tips prove to be a strategic solution.

Multi-cavity manifolds
For the production of numerous identical parts within a specified timeframe, opting for a multi-cavity mould proves to be the superior choice. These moulds empower manufacturers to generate a larger quantity of parts expeditiously.

Hydraulic Unscrewing
For designs incorporating internal threads, employing a conventional hydraulic unscrewing core stands out as the most cost-effective and easily maintainable option compared to other internal thread molding processes.

Hydraulics
In high-production tooling with larger side movers hydraulic cylinders are generally used for core pulling. Xplora has extensive experience with hydraulic cylinders, whether that is advice on design implementation, installation, or maintenance.

Special segment bend cores
Segment bending cores come into play when a core cannot be smoothly pulled out along the line of draw. In such situations, our preference is to employ a segment-bending core that can be subdivided into smaller segments, allowing for a more manageable and efficient extraction along the line of draw
